What is your reality?

Marn | December 8, 2011 | no comments

A friend of mine posted this poem on Facebook earlier today and it brought about an epiphany for me today. Which isn’t unusual because I have them all of the time. But this one I think is fairly impactful for anyone who reads it. Here is how...

How I help others Thrive

Marn | November 16, 2011 | no comments

After watching the Thrive movie I realized that I am an imaginal cell in the Thrive Movement. I am using Network Marketing to do my part in systematically taking down the elite. Now I may just be one person, however, imagine as my team gets bigger...

Aligned Awakening.

I am reading, “The Guru in You” by Cameron Alborzian, the supermodel, turned guru. I am really enjoying it. He’s a year older than I am, so we were brought up in the same time.

Things in Common

I guess I identify with him because I used to model when I was much younger. When I was 12 I was invited by New Dawn modeling agency to participate in a competition in New York. They thought I had a good chance of winning a contract.  My Mother and grandmother were all excited and had purchased the tickets when I gave them the sullen news. I didn’t want to go to New York and be a model. I had already been modeling for a couple of years and I didn’t really like the way people treated me. I felt like an object. I wanted to be known for my brains not my beauty. So I can empathize with Yogi Cameron’s feelings to some degree.

So I embarked on my path with my first love, computers. But this strange tie back to modeling has popped its’ head up every once in a while in my life.

One of my favorite models besides Carmen Dell’Orefice, was Christy Brinkley. In 1998, while attending a convention with my now ex-husband, I had the pleasure of meeting her and having my picture taken with her. You always think you are great looking up until that moment when you have your picture taken with a Supermodel. Boy what a humbling experience. It made me wonder if I even had a chance at all back in my modeling days. She is still stunning today!  I wonder if Yogi Cameron ever met her?

In my life there had only ever been two companies that I considered working for, Apple Computers and Ford Modeling agency. In 2001 I was hired as one of the first Geniuses at the 21st Apple Store located in Fashion Valley, San Diego, CA.

Oddly enough, I met Christie Brinkley’s ex-husband Ricky Taubman in La Jolla in 2002. He asked me for lunch and then back again to help him with his Mac. He scared me with talk of going to his Island in the San Juan Islands. It was clear that he was playing life at a whole different level than I was at the time. Every once in a while when I walk by the La Valencia Hotel, where we met, I wonder about him.

In 2006 Bill Ford, of the Ford Modeling agency, flew out to San Diego to meet me. It was a surreal moment. It was as if the universe had said to me, “You did the right thing by following your heart with computers, so I am going to give you better than your wish. You get to work with both of your dream companies” I wasn’t working for Ford as a model, but instead I consulted with them on their use of Daylite.

Bill Ford had also just got divorced and asked me out to dinner. I was surprised that he asked me, knowing that he was surrounded by supermodels all of the time. However, somehow I attracted his attention and we had a lovely dinner. I wasn’t moving to New York and he wasn’t moving here, so we left it at that.

My Awakening

I’ve worked in the computer industry now for 26 years with a 7 year stint in Network Marketing while with my ex-husband. I still love what I do, but a few years ago I got “the spiritual calling”. In 2009 I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Metaphysical Sciences. Right now, I am still working on my Masters.

Earlier this year, I attended a global 12 week event with the futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard and became an Agent of Conscious Evolution. It was during this that my life took on a profoundly different direction. Up until then I was the world leading Daylite implementor and could not imagine changing my life so drastically. I had also just launched a new piece to my business. So it was a bit of a crisis for me as I started to feel pulled in this new direction.

My Vehicle

It was also during this time that I was introduced to Isagenix while I was on vacation in the Cayman Islands. During Barbara’s course they were talking about sharing the ideas of conscious evolution with small groups of people. Of course my brain is working, “Hmm, small groups of people, sharing it with others. Network Marketing would be a great vehicle for this.” People in America are driven by 4 things. Money, Freedom, Mastery and Purpose. I wrote a blog article on that here. So why not give them a way to earn a residual income while fulfilling a great purpose?

Shortly after the course, my father took a turn for the worse, and my consulting business took a nosedive. I decided to put everything in storage and high tail it up to Canada to spend the last few weeks of my Dad’s life with him. I would not trade that time for anything in the world.

He even had his own awakening near the end and asked to be baptized. He had never been a religious man, so I was really surprised. I am not religious, but I fully supported him in his decision. I wrote a blog article about that experience here.

Auspiciously, I was able to build my Isagenix business on the way up to Canada and the way down. However, more important than that was coming to the realization that if I had known 10 years ago what I had learned in my first few weeks with Isagenix, I could have saved my Dad’s life. My Dad brought on adult onset diabetes by drinking 2 x 2-litre bottles of Pepsi almost every day. He died of cancer in the end, but cancer is a predatory disease, feeding on weakened bodies. If I had been able to reverse his diabetes before the cancer got to him, it would have changed everything. The whole experience, just solidified my resolve to work with Isagenix. Maybe I couldn’t save him, but perhaps I can save someone elses Dad.

As I got to know Isagenix, I realised how spiritual their culture is. I was even asked to lead a mediation on a conference call that we had. So every day, I get to experience this collective awakening that is going on. I get to be in it, essentially being a change agent, freeing people from “The Matrix.” And here I am reading this book. Who would have thought I would have anything in common with Yogi Cameron? Certainly not me.

How Yogi Cameron aids this mission

I’ve been reading his book and using his Guru with You App on my iPad and iPhone. I can highly recommend it if you are just getting started with yoga and meditation. It gently guides you on good eating choices and mindfulness exercises. My 10 year old son has been working through it with me and has really enjoyed how it makes him feel more “centered and balanced” in the world.

On 11/11/11 I attended the PeaceLink Live event at the Agape Church in Culver City up in L.A. It was great to hear Yogi Cameron in person. I can completely get behind what he is proposing, that good health begins in the stomach. It goes along perfectly with what we are trying to achieve in Isagenix. However, with Isagenix we are slowly introducing people to better health, it’s a little more mainstream approach than the Ayurvedic approach. We teach people how to replace junk with superfood and start eating organically.

I see myself recommending my people to his book when they are ready to move into it a little more deeply and authentically. It is a perfect second step.

I am particularly grateful for his advice on using sesame seed oil and licorice root instead of store bought toothpaste. I’ve really noticed a difference myself. I also did a little research and with all of the new technology in toothpastes, we are having more cavities than ever. Maybe we should pay attention to that. Aren’t our toothpastes supposed to prevent cavities? There is something wrong there.

We need people like Yogi Cameron to help wake people up to what they are doing to their bodies and the world at the same time. He is doing great things for this movement. Thanks Yogi Cameron. Namaste!

What is my death book?

Marn | August 5, 2011 | no comments

Here with my Dad as they read the Bible to him as he is dying and I am thinking, I need to make sure people know what book to read to me as I die. But I am not sure what that book is. It’s not the Bible because I do not label myself as a...

The Teachings of Amit Goswami

The Teachings of Amit Goswami

@Todd_Andelin said “Amit Goswami is amazing. What books can you recommend?“ I couldn’t answer that in a short Twitter burst. I have read almost all of his books. I also took his Quantum Activism course in 2009. It was amazing to spend a whole week with this amazing man. Now when I read his books, I can imagine his voice and the intonations he puts on things with his accent. It made it a more personal experience for me.

The first place I would recommend that you start your journey is watching the Quantum Activist movie. I’ll also be posting some take aways that I got from my time with him.

I’ve read “Physics of the Soul – The Quantum Book of Living Dying, Reincarnation, and Immortality”; ” The Self-Aware Universe, how consciousness creates the material world”; “God is not Dead, What Quantum Physics Tells us about our origins and how we should live.”

Here’s a trailer to his movie.

It’s a fight

I had to laugh today when I read a Tweet I received from Roger X who questioned whether I was selling Quantum Physics or if I really believed in it. I had to ask him, “How do you sell Quantum Physics?” His response was to tell me that...

I am evolving…

Marn | June 29, 2011 | no comments

I am just finishing up the 1st Agents of Conscious Evolution (ACE) Training. I have gotten a lot out of it myself. I would actually dare to even say it has been life altering for me. I’ve always been a spiritual person, but I have kind of been a closet spiritualist. Some people who know me really well know how deep my thoughts are.

After going on this course, I decided to be my most authentic and reveal myself to the world. I’ve been reading and learning so much in the last 3 years since starting my journey towards my Ph.D in Metaphysical Sciences, I decided, now is the time to really shine. I know the world needs people like me to help it to change. I can be that change agent, I can hold the space for them. I’ve been doing it for years in computers.

I read Barbara Marx Hubbard’s book, “Conscious Evolution” in 1998 when it first came out and it was one of the books that defined who I am today. I’ve shared it with close friends and they have said the same.

So here is what I did and why I did it. I believe in conscious evolution whole heartedly. I believe we are at a point in our evolution where we either change or die as a species. Yes, I did say die. I do know that we cannot continue with the status quo. I can’t explain the whole evolutionary process as well as Barbara can so I have embedded a great video from Lilou Mace below.

Lilou Mace

By the way, Lilou Mace inspires me. She goes around the world interviewing some of the greatest minds in the new consciousness movement. I’ll share other ones in other posts.

After participating in the course, I knew I could no longer know this information and not share it with the world. To be honest with you, before this course, I was afraid. I was afraid of what YOU would think of me. It takes a great amount of courage to reveal what you cherish most, it does for me anyway. I think that is why love is so hard, especially as we get older. We hide our vulnerability. We pretend we don’t need anything or anyone, at least, that’s my M.O.

So here I am opening myself up, being vulnerable. Perhaps sacrificing myself, but I know it is for the greater good because the world needs people to evolve. We need to treat each other with more respect and consideration. We need to be empathic and get over our need to segregate and separate.

I also learned that I need to reach a LOT of people so how can I do that? Well, I am only 1 person. Sure I can build this site and promote it. But still, it’s one voice. At the same time as all of this is happening, Stephan, a friend I met at a girlfriend’s wedding introduced me to a company called Isagenix. It was another network marketing company. See my story to read how I had been involved in network marketing before. I investigated the company and I was surprised that the people it attracted were conscious people. So, of course, my mind is racing. I could reach more people with the story of conscious evolution be building a network marketing business.

I know it’s not your typical reason for joining. I know about the income potential, but it was the word of mouth potential that excited me the most. What if I could build a team of thousands of associates who also spread the word about conscious evolution. Ok, now that could make an impact not only on my life but on perhaps hundreds of thousands of lives.

So I encourage you, if you want to learn more about conscious evolution, attend Barbara’s course. If you want to truly change the world, join me.

Loving social media

Marn | June 28, 2011 | no comments

I love social networking for the honesty and power it gives us. This is a great video that will give you some hard stats in case you have been wondering about the impact that it has. I thought the fact that social media overtook porn was a positive step for us. Perhaps we are evolving?

We trust what our friends and acquaintances are saying a lot more than we trust traditional media and the government because we have vetted them first. We decide who we want to follow and be friends with. If we don’t like what someone has to say, we can simply tune them out and unfollow.

When I hear the words, “power to the people” now, I immediately think of social media first. I find it funny that CNN came up with an immediate rebuttal saying, “Why Social Networking ‘Utopia’ Isn’t Coming”. Of course they would, because it threatens them.

When you are really in it, it is an interesting phenomenon, especially on Twitter because you can really see the stream of consciousness flying by.

I think in general social networking really allows grass-roots movements to develop quickly. I know it has allowed a lot of small non-profit and socially beneficial projects to move forward faster than they would have without it. I’d love it if we could find some way to use social media to vote, that way there would be no tampering with the numbers. I see that globally people are finding and ensuring their liberty through social networking and I champion that.

So now comes the question what are YOU contributing to that stream of global consciousness?

Are you putting your best self forward? Are you awakening consciousness in people or putting them to sleep?

The new science

Marn | June 23, 2011 | no comments

Back in the early eighties I read, “The rebirth of Nature, the Greening of Science & God”.

I got very excited because it seemed that finally science had caught up with what the great religions had known all along. It was then that I started consuming most of my spare time in the pursuit of understanding where science and spirituality meet.

I’ve read almost all of Quantum Activist, Amit Goswami’s books and I was also at the Los Angeles Premier of his movie, the Quantum Activist. In 2009 I attended his course on Quantum Activism.

Earlier today, one of my friend’s Denise Abda posted this video on facebook and I thought for those of you who are just getting up to speed with the new science it would be a good start.

I am one of those activists, because I really feel that it is time for the general population to start understanding the new science. Most people are still living with outmoded scientific thought. We’ve got a whole new world ahead of us if we would just open our eyes.

And that is exactly what I will be doing. Helping us to open our eyes. Showing you were religion and science meet.
